Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents at Age Care West Williams in Kitchener, Ontario. As a Registered Practical Nurse, enhance residents' lives while collaborating with dedicated healthcare team members.

In this casual position, you will work closely with the Registered Nurse, implementing Age Care's policies and procedures.

Your role includes providing direction to Personal Support Workers and ensuring quality care for residents. You will liaise with physicians and other health care professionals, playing a crucial role in resident health management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement nursing care per Age Care’s procedures

• Liaise with physicians and healthcare team members

• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers

• Participate in shift reports to update care teams

• Monitor and notify of any significant changes in resident status

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses

• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards

• Experience in geriatric and rehabilitation nursing

• Strong understanding of care needs in nursing homes

• Ability to collaborate with various health professionals
