Join Age Care West Williams as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), delivering essential care to residents. In this casual role, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to support resident needs effectively.
As a Registered Practical Nurse at Age Care, you will provide professional nursing care in line with standards set by the College of Nurses.
Your role includes guiding Personal Support Workers and ensuring seamless communication with physicians and healthcare team members. This position demands a robust background in geriatric care and compliance with health regulations to maintain the highest standard of care for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care policies with the Registered Nurse
• Communicate significant changes in resident status promptly
• Direct Personal Support Workers on care strategies
• Liaise with healthcare team members effectively
• Participate in shift reporting to keep team informed
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Understanding of relevant healthcare regulations
• Membership in good standing with nursing body
• Experience in rehabilitation nursing is an asset
