Coordinate patient care at Renfrew Victoria Hospital using clinical leadership, staffing expertise, and emergency response skills in a permanent part-time position.
RVH is hiring a permanent part-time Nursing Coordinator for Nursing Administration. This position directs patient care and staffing across hospital areas, including PRH and Barry's Bay dialysis units. The coordinator supports safe patient flow, resolves shift issues, and leads emergency responses.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and evaluate patient care, staffing, equipment, and supplies
- Replace sick calls and adjust staffing for workload pressures
- Resolve client, family, visitor, and interdisciplinary concerns
- Lead emergency response activities, including codes
- Coach staff and mentor new and junior employees
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
- Strong medical-surgical, emergency, critical care, and ECG skills
- ACLS, CPR, and IV certifications
- Excellent communication, organization, and team leadership skills
- Effective EPIC documentation and independent work abilities
