Position: Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Inspector - Mid Mod Centre
Location: Breslau

Position Summary

The QA/QC Inspector (Manufacturing) supports Manufacturing operations by performing Quality Control (QC) inspection functions within the Manufacturing system and Quality Assurance (QA) surveillance functions within the AMO. QA is only performed within the same system if the activity is demonstrably outside the Inspector’s day‑to‑day operational duties. This role is structured to preserve separation between Manufacturing production and AMO quality assurance oversight, in accordance with the organization’s approved Quality system and applicable CAR 561 and CAR 573 requirements.

The position also supports training and competency activities related to Manufacturing inspection and quality processes, as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured products and assemblies.
  • Verify conformity to:
    • Engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Approved Manufacturing procedures.
    • Inspection and test requirements.
  • Review inspection and production records for accuracy, completeness, and traceability.
  • Identify and document non-conformities in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Exercise acceptance or rejection authority only within delegated QC authority.
  • Support delivery of Manufacturing-related quality and inspection training, including:
    • Inspection techniques.
    • Documentation and record control.
    • Common non-conformity prevention.
  • Provide training and maintain competency records as assigned.
  • Training support does not include authority to alter approved requirements.
  • Conduct QA surveillance and audit activities within the AMO.
  • Verify AMO compliance with:
    • Approved Maintenance Policy Manual and Quality procedures.
    • Record control and certification requirements.
  • Document findings, observations, and non-conformities.
  • Support corrective action tracking and verification as assigned.
  • Participate in AMO-related internal and external audits.
  • Promote the SDR (Service Difficulty Reporting), and the SMS (Safety Management System).
  • Raise SMS findings whenever required.
  • Stay current with all company and regulatory training required to function in the assigned role.
Qualifications
  • TCCA Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License (AME-E).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of aerospace Manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and controlled procedures.
  • Strong attention to documentation accuracy.
  • Aerospace manufacturing, inspection, or quality background is considered an asset.
  • Experience supporting technical training or competency programs is considered an asset.
  • Prior QA or audit exposure is considered an asset.
  • AS9100 accreditation is considered an asset.
