- Chinese Quality Control Specialist based in Canada.

This remote freelance opportunity allows you to support the development of high-quality AI systems by ensuring the accuracy and reliability of training data. You will review AI data annotation outputs, validate answers against visual content, and identify inconsistencies that may impact model performance. The role requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to apply quality standards consistently. You will collaborate with a global team of contributors while working independently on structured review tasks.

The Project Epsilon
- Chinese Quality Control Specialist is responsible for reviewing and validating AI training data submitted by contributors, ensuring that responses meet project requirements and quality standards. The role focuses on identifying errors, providing feedback, and maintaining consistency across large volumes of data.

• Review completed tasks submitted by Trainers, including questions, images, and corresponding reference answers.
• Independently verify whether provided answers are accurate based on the available visual information.
• Identify and flag incorrect, incomplete, unclear, or inconsistent responses.
• Provide clear feedback and corrections to support continuous improvement of data quality.
• Monitor recurring quality issues and report patterns or trends to the project team.
• Ensure submitted work meets established quality standards before final approval.
• Escalate ambiguous cases, such as unclear images or uncertain questions, for further review.
• Apply project guidelines and evaluation criteria consistently and objectively.

The ideal candidate is meticulous, analytical, and experienced in reviewing information with a strong focus on accuracy. Success in this role requires excellent language skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide constructive feedback while following structured guidelines.

• Native or strong proficiency in Chinese.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent visual observation and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to apply guidelines and evaluation criteria consistently.
• Strong written English communication skills, especially for providing feedback and documentation.
• Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, editing, proofreading, data review, data annotation, or data labeling is an asset.
• Reliable access to a computer and stable internet connection.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.
