Reporting to the Director of Research and Innovation Services, this role involves providing in-depth assistance to faculty members in preparing grant proposals and applications. You will interpret the complex guidelines of various funding agencies and ensure that all proposals meet the stringent compliance standards set by the university. Additionally, you will organize workshops to empower faculty and students in securing research funding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support researchers in grant application processes
• Consult on funding policies and agency requirements
• Draft critical support and reference letters
• Organize workshops for skill development
• Collaborate with post-award administration
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in an academic setting
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities
• Proven capacity to manage multiple responsibilities
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
