The Head Cashier is responsible for supervising, coaching, and motivating their team while acting as a mobilizing leader on a day-to-day basis. They ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures, particularly those related to loss prevention, transaction handling, and cash register security.
They uphold excellence in customer service by leading by example, motivating the team to meet established service standards, and proactively intervening to maintain a consistent and positive customer experience.
The Head Cashier also performs cashier duties as required and ensures continuity of operations, including managing priorities, resolving issues, and supporting smooth operations during peak periods. They actively participate in training, coaching, and mentoring team members to support skill development and overall performance.
Qualifications• Passionate about customer service;
• Experience in a cashier position;
• Skillful and comfortable with a computer;
• Able to provide excellent customer service;
• Available day, evening and weekend.
