As a Meat Cutter at Sobeys, you'll support customer needs while ensuring all meat standards and CFIA regulations are met.
Your role includes merchandising the meat area, providing technical training to colleagues, and assisting the Meat Manager as needed. You'll need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate full operational knowledge of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide customer service tailored to individual needs
• Merchandise the meat area for optimal presentation
• Meet company meat standards and CFIA regulations
• Implement all applicable company standards consistently
• Offer training support to new staff and clerks
Requirements:
• Full knowledge of department operations required
• Minimum 12 months of relevant experience
• High School Diploma is a must
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
• Adapt to a hybrid work model, office presence three days/week
