As a Cashier at Giant Tiger, you’ll play an integral part in providing customers with a great shopping experience. Your tasks will include accurately processing transactions and keeping the checkout area tidy. You should demonstrate strong customer service abilities while being punctual and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent service during customer transactions
• Accurately record sales using electronic registers
• Replenish goods around the checkout area
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the checkout workspace
• Comply with safety policies and prevent loss
Requirements:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail during transactions
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Willingness to work on flexible schedules, including evenings
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs and stand for duration of shifts
