Apply advanced automotive systems knowledge and DIY sales expertise as an Automotive Parts Sales Advisor supporting customers through complex projects.
This advanced-level position combines parts knowledge, store operations, and automotive problem resolution. You will identify issues, troubleshoot systems, assist projects, and source parts through special orders, FDO, and second sources. The role also supports sales goals, DIY services, and store operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Resolve advanced DIY automotive issues for customers
- Provide GAS3 selling across walk-in, online, and phone orders
- Manage testing, battery installation, and wiper installation services
- Perform key holder opening, closing, safety, and task duties
- Assist inventory processes, cleanliness, and professional services
- Three to five years of automotive parts experience
- Advanced DIY selling, parts lookup, and sourcing skills
- Automotive systems and diagnostic equipment knowledge
- High school diploma or general education degree
- ASE certification preferred, but not required
Use advanced parts sourcing, diagnostics, and customer service skills to guide DIY automotive purchases and projects successfully.
