Hospital Security Officer at WRHN Midtown

Secure the safety of all patrons at WRHN’s Midtown location as a part time Hospital Security Officer.

Your role focuses on emergency response and supporting the diverse hospital community.

You will contribute to a safe and welcoming atmosphere through constant vigilance and adherence to hospital safety protocols with a required Ontario Security Guard License. Your responsibilities include responding to emergencies and assisting with patient care as needed, ensuring a secure environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor hospital security presence continuously

• Respond promptly to Hospital Emergency Codes

• Aid in the creation of a safe health environment

• Control access to various hospital areas

• Collaborate with clinical staff on security needs

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent required

• Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License

• 2-year Law and Security course background

• Required CPR and First Aid Certification

• Ability to function well under pressure
