Elevate retail security as a Full-Time Asset Protection Representative at Zehrs, part of Loblaw Companies Limited in Listowel, Ontario.
Your role is vital in safeguarding the community through effective loss prevention.
You'll engage directly in preventing theft and ensuring safety within the store environment. This position involves working with both internal teams and law enforcement to address security issues, making your presence instrumental in maintaining loss indicators. Flexibility in schedule will be necessary to cover store hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain an observable presence to deter fraud
• Detain offenders in line with legal frameworks
• Execute detailed investigations and collect evidence
• Collaborate with management on shrink reduction
• Support adherence to security standards and protocols
Requirements:
• Valid Security Guard License for your province
• Knowledge of relevant legal codes and acts
• Experience with surveillance systems and software
• Strong integrity and proactive problem-solving
• Background in high-volume retail advantageous
