Youth Support Worker

Position: Youth Support Worker - Permanent Full-Time
Make a difference as a Youth Support Worker at the Waterloo Catholic District School Board in Kitchener, Ontario. This full-time role offers the opportunity to directly influence the lives of students through support and management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to design student programs

• Assist in crisis management and behavior strategies

• Maintain necessary records in line with procedures

• Provide continuous monitoring and supervision of students

• Attend Collaborative Team meetings when required

Requirements:

• Relevant Child and Youth Care Worker Diploma

• At least 2 years of experience in similar roles

• BMS certification preferred

• Training related to autism is beneficial

• Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transport
