Firmware Development Engineer

Join e-STORAGE as a Senior DSP Firmware Engineer, specializing in hybrid firmware development for inverters. This role focuses on real-time embedded systems and involves working with Texas Instruments DSP technology.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing real-time firmware for utility-energy storage systems. With a strong background in embedded systems, you’ll translate complex requirements into efficient firmware solutions. Collaboration with various teams will be key to ensure compliance and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging firmware architectures for TI DSP platforms

• Implement real-time control loops in embedded C

• Convert control requirements into firmware designs

• Develop features for grid protection and fault handling

• Support compliance with grid standards and certifications

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field

• Minimum of 5 years in firmware design

• Advanced knowledge of TI DSP platforms and peripherals

• Experience with CCS and firmware testing methods

• Strong programming skills in embedded C
