Firmware Engineer at Jetson

In this full-time role, you will take end-to-end ownership of firmware for Jetson’s devices such as heat pumps and EV chargers. The position requires deep knowledge of embedded systems, including production C or C++ on microcontrollers and communication protocols like BLE and Wifi. As part of a collaborative team, you will engage with hardware engineers and customer support to ensure seamless functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own firmware for Jetson's energy control devices

• Develop code adhering to best engineering practices

• Design systems for resiliency against failures

• Collaborate across teams on diagnostics and improvements

• Handle on-call responsibilities for production issues

Requirements:

• Proven experience in embedded systems development

• Proficient in C or C++ with microcontroller experience

• Skilled in debugging hardware-software interactions

• Familiar with communication protocols and memory management

• Strong problem-solving mindset and collaboration skills
