AI Engineer, Speech Synthesis Expert

You’ll play a crucial role within our Speech Team, managing the backend development and linguistic optimization of voice technologies for AI agents. Your collaboration with design and engineering teams will be essential in ensuring that our TTS systems produce high-quality and contextually aware speech, enhancing interactions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own TTS backend implementation and vendor API integration

• Optimize latency across ASR and TTS pipelines

• Utilize linguistic skills for TTS naturalness and accuracy

• Build systems to expose voice attributes to UI

• Engineer structured prompts for voice modeling
Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years working in Speech Synthesis

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Academic degree in AI/ML, Linguistics, or related

• Experience with speech frameworks and APIs

• Proven expertise in prompt versioning and evaluation
