Acceldata is seeking a Principal Engineer to spearhead the Open Data Platform’s technical strategy in a role that emphasizes innovation and architectural excellence in distributed systems.
Bring your 14+ years of experience to Acceldata, the pioneer in Enterprise Data Observability. As a Principal Engineer, you will define our long-term technical vision and drive initiatives that establish Acceldata as a key player in the data community. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with leadership on strategic technical execution and mentoring engineers to elevate standards throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the architectural vision for the Open Data Platform initiative
• Drive high-impact system design and complex architectural solutions
• Research and implement emerging technologies in data environments
• Engage with the open-source community and lead contributions
• Mentor engineering staff to foster talent and leadership
Requirements:
• Minimum 12 years of software engineering experience
• Expert in Java or Scala; familiarity with Python advantageous
• Extensive background in systems architecture and cloud technologies
• Proven ability to manage large-scale technical projects
• Excellent communication for influencing technical decisions
