Position: Firmware Developer for Hardware Products
Join Waterloo Technical in Kitchener as an Embedded Firmware Developer, where you will craft firmware for innovative hardware. Your hands-on experience will directly impact multiple projects across various technologies.

As part of our technical team, you will develop firmware for microcontroller-based products, collaborating during the essential board bring-up phase. You’ll be involved in real-world product development while breaking down project tasks and communicating effectively with clients to build trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and debug firmware for a range of devices

• Collaborate with teams during hardware bring-up phases

• Organize project components into manageable tasks

• Explain firmware design decisions to clients clearly

• Facilitate coordination among firmware team efforts

Requirements:

• 2-6 years delivering embedded firmware solutions

• Strong C programming skills for ARM-based platforms

• Comfortable troubleshooting at the firmware/hardware interface

• Organized with the ability to drive projects independently

• Relevant degree or substantial hands-on experience
