Overview
Jakin Farms Ltd is a 1400 head Farrow to Finish Hog Operation just outside of Tavistock in Southern Ontario. Jakin Farms Ltd, is a Family owned business.
Responsibilities- Deliver hogs from our finishing barn loacations to Breslau, ON.
- Load and unload 300lb markets hogs, scarp trailers, and apply new bedding before loading.
- Other driving may include feed and grain deliveries.
- Daily inspections of equipment.
- Work nights and the odd Saturday.
- Assist with overall operation of the farm as needed.
- Valid AZ drivers licence.
- Ability to safely handle hogs and trucking equipment.
- Included a 3-4 bedroom house on location where the trucks are parked, if needed.
- Hours can vary and additional hours are available.
