Fuel Truck Driver

Foxton Fuels Limited is currently seeking a Full-time Fuel Truck driver to work out of our Listowel office. Foxton Fuels has been serving Mid-Western Ontario for over 50 years. This individual must be self‑motivated, be able to coordinate his/her involvement in multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines, be highly detail‑oriented, and enjoy working independently but also as part of a team.

• Daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Deliver fuel to commercial, residential and farm customers, following all safety rules and regulations.
• Provide professional customer service in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate delivery records

• All positions require employee to be aware of rules and regulations, review and sign off on SOP and comply with the Foxton Fuels Safe driving policy and laws related to road safety (Highway Traffic Act)
• Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
• Ability to communicate effectively in English – must be able to carry out verbal instructions, read labels and signs, complete daily reports
• Strong Mathematical and Time management skills
• Must be able to accurately read maps and follow specific delivery instructions
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
• Proficient in various computer operating software

• Ability to move items weighing up to 100lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
• Regular day shift with occasional evening and weekend deliveries

• Clean Drivers Abstract and Valid DZ Driver’s License required
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission
• Heavy & Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers: 1 year (preferred)
