As a Traffic Technician, your role will be vital in ensuring effective transport planning for personnel and cargo. You will manage transport documentation, execute loading and unloading across different transport methods, and operate military vehicles. Training encompasses dangerous cargo handling and maintaining financial records related to transportation contracts, providing you with comprehensive logistical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record and account for transportation documents for cargo and personnel
• Plan and execute loading and offloading operations across transport vehicles
• Handle customs documentation and dangerous cargo processing
• Operate military vehicles and handling equipment efficiently
• Process invoices and maintain logistical financial records
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or a comparable education level
• Military logistics training at the Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre
• Skills in operating military transport and handling equipment
• Flexibility to work in diverse environments and extreme conditions
• Willingness to undertake shift work and potential relocations
Support the Canadian Armed Forces through logistical coordination in various operational settings.
