Join Darling Ingredients as a Receiver/Shunter at our Hickson, Ontario facility. This afternoon shift role focuses on equipment inspections, trailer management, and documentation duties.
We are seeking a dedicated Receiver/Shunter for our processing plant. Operating from 3pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday, the ideal candidate will need a valid Class G driver's license and experience with heavy equipment. Key responsibilities include monitoring dispatch sheets, operating forklifts, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-inspections of all equipment before use
• Move and dump trailers into production areas as needed
• Monitor dispatch sheets for prioritized trailer dumping
• Fill out production and quality paperwork accurately
• Follow workplace health and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Valid Class G driver's license required
• Previous heavy equipment experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
• Capacity to work independently and within a team
