Position: Yard Assistant for Equipment Maintenance
Join our team as a Yard Assistant focused on vehicle upkeep and equipment management. This full-time role involves loading, washing, and moving trailers while supporting the yard manager.

As a Yard Assistant, you will work full-time—up to 44 hours each week—managing the condition of our vehicles and equipment. Your primary tasks include assisting with shunting and delivering trailers to repair shops, as well as keeping the yard manager informed about daily activities. You'll play a vital role in maintaining safety and efficiency in the yard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee vehicle and equipment condition daily

• Wash and maintain yard equipment regularly

• Assist yard manager with shunting and loading

• Deliver trailers and trucks to local repair shops

• Keep distribution team updated throughout the day

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Ability to work full-time, up to 44 hours

• Experience in vehicle maintenance or yard management

• Good communication skills for reporting

• Physically capable of performing yard duties
