Position: Full-Time School Bus Operator Role
Location: Elmira

Join the effort to keep students safe with a full-time School Bus Operator position. This on-site role requires dedicated individuals to operate buses and ensure secure travel for children.

No diploma is necessary as training will be provided to prepare you for the duties ahead. Your responsibilities will revolve around ensuring children's safety during transport, managing any emergencies, and maintaining effective communication with the dispatch and passengers. Flexibility and excellent communication skills are key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate buses for passenger transport

• Report and address any mechanical or safety issues

• Direct passengers during emergency situations

• Maintain student activity control during travel

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Requirements:

• Must possess a Class 5/5F/G Licence

• Child Abuse Registry and criminal record checks

• Previous bus driving experience is not mandatory

• Reliable teamwork and organizational skills

• Ability to manage safety protocols
