Join Purolator as a Freight Sorter in Kitchener, ON, and play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries. Engage in physical sorting tasks while working Monday to Friday.
In this position, you will sort and separate freight by various categories to meet delivery schedules. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, managing items up to 70 pounds while sorting efficiently. No previous experience is necessary, and the role promotes a teamwork-centered environment at our distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload freight from curbside trucks to conveyor systems
• Transfer loads from conveyor to delivery vehicles
• Scan mail and packages for sorting accuracy
• Manually handle bulk items as required
• Prepare mail and packages for curbside delivery
Requirements:
• Ability to lift and lower up to 70 pounds
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in English for communication needs
• Team-oriented approach to tasks
• No specific education or experience required
