Emcon Services Inc. is hiring Seasonal Maintenance Workers/Operators in Ontario. Bring your highway maintenance expertise and commitment to safety to this meaningful role!
This position involves extensive safety-conscious operation focusing on highway maintenance tasks. You will perform a variety of activities such as snow plowing, traffic management, and patrolling while reporting to the Road Superintendent. This unionized role includes scheduled shifts with full-time hours and may require overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform summer and winter highway maintenance tasks
• Handle snow plowing and sanding operations
• Conduct right-of-way and drainage maintenance
• Assist with minor upkeep of vehicles and equipment
• Complete other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Must hold a valid DZ license; AZ is a plus
• Highway maintenance experience is essential
• Reliability and punctuality for shift work
• Ability to manage physical demands of the role
• Passing drug screening and maintaining a clean driving record
