Warehouse​/Counter Associate

Scope of the Position

The Warehouse/Counter Associate supports both warehouse operations and customer service activities, including picking and packing orders, loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, assisting walk‑in customers, processing orders, and handling product‑related inquiries.

• Pick, pack, wrap, label, and prepare customer and warehouse orders for shipment or pickup.
• Load and unload trucks, receive incoming materials, and place stock in correct locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory through counting, organizing, and returning items to stock.
• Assist walk‑in customers and handle phone inquiries, including order entry, pricing, and quoting.
• Support customers and Account Managers with product information, returns, defective items, and special product requests.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing products are in good condition and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily operational needs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

• Minimum two years of warehouse experience.
• Experience in the electrical industry or equivalent knowledge is an asset.
• Strong accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written communication and professional phone manners.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for most of the shift.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Willingness to be forklift trained.
