Scope of the Position
The Warehouse/Counter Associate is responsible for supporting both warehouse operations and customer service activities. This includes picking and packing orders, loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, assisting walk‑in customers, processing orders, and handling product‑related inquiries. The role requires accuracy, strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift training will be provided.
Major Responsibilities
Pick, pack, wrap, label, and prepare customer and warehouse orders for shipment or pickup
Load and unload trucks, receive incoming materials, and place stock in correct locations
Maintain accurate inventory through counting, organizing, and returning items to stock
Assist walk‑in customers and handle phone inquiries, including order entry, pricing, and quoting
Support customers and Account Managers with product information, returns, defective items, and special product requests
Ensure all incoming and outgoing products are in good condition and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment
Work independently and collaboratively to meet daily operational needs
Perform any other duties assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum two years of warehouse experience
Experience in the electrical industry or equivalent knowledge is an asset
Strong accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
Excellent written communication and professional phone manners
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
Basic math and reasoning skills
Willingness to be forklift trained
