Location: Waterloo
Lead daily distribution center operations at Walmart in Cornwall, Ontario, using staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination to meet customer requirements.
This Team Leader supervises receiving, order filling, or shipping operations within the distribution center. The position coordinates associates, supports hiring and training, and maintains productive, safe, cost-efficient workflows. It also emphasizes accurate records, performance reporting, and consistent standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule personnel for receiving, order filling, or shipping
- Conduct startup meetings and assign daily workloads
- Train associates on standard operating procedures
- Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and key performance indicators
- Support performance management, coaching, and development activities
- Be at least 18 years old
- Supervise daily distribution center operations
- Support hiring, training, and job rotation activities
- Maintain employment-related health, safety, and housekeeping programs
- Communicate and interpret company policies for associates
