Use mobile inventory scanning and vehicle inspection skills as a Rail Inspector at AWCC’s Wolverton facility in Ontario.
AWC Operations Canada provides logistics services for Glovis Canada Inc. at the Wolverton facility. This position completes yard inventory scans, identifies lost or mis-zoned vehicles, and records inbound damage. Rail Inspectors also support vehicle preparation, fueling records, cleanliness, and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Scan vehicles with mobile devices for yard inventory
- Identify lost or mis-zoned vehicles
- Record fuel dates, van numbers, and liters
- Clean van interiors and maintain work areas
- Notify management about hazards or unsafe conditions
- Minimum one year of heavy labour experience
- Valid full G driver’s license
- Automatic and manual transmission driving ability
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Ability to follow quality and safety standards
Support accurate vehicle tracking and orderly yard operations through mobile scanning, reporting, cleaning, and safety awareness.
