HSE Advisor

Position: HSE Advisor for WSG Energy Services
Provide hands-on HSE leadership at WSG Energy Services in Kitimat, BC. This site-based role ensures compliance and safety across all project phases while engaging with teams daily.

As an experienced HSE Advisor, you will support industrial projects, focusing on regulatory compliance and safety leadership. Collaborate with supervisors and crew members, conducting safety orientations and inspections to maintain a safe work environment. Your proactive approach will be essential to the success of ongoing projects in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site HSE support for line cleaning projects

• Ensure compliance with regulatory HSE standards

• Conduct safety orientations and toolbox talks

• Identify hazards and verify effective control measures

• Complete daily inspections and safety monitoring

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety

• 2–3+ years experience in an HSE Advisor role

• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
