Environmental Lead for Infrastructure Projects

Join Hatfield as an Environmental Lead for a 6-month contract in Kitimat, BC. Get involved in leading environmental compliance on a significant infrastructure project while working on-site in all weather conditions.

In this role, you will support environmental technicians and consultants and oversee compliance documents such as environmental protection plans. This is a critical part of our Infrastructure Environmental Monitoring (IEM) group, which emphasizes collaborative project management. With your experience in managing environmental aspects, you will ensure that the project meets regulatory requirements and achieves its environmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead environmental technicians in monitoring activities

• Prepare and manage environmental permits and approvals

• Draft environmental compliance documents for projects

• Collaborate with development teams on environmental protection

• Engage with regulatory agencies for compliance

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in environmental discipline

• 10+ years managing environmental projects

• Experience with regulatory and permitting frameworks

• Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams

• Valid Canadian driver’s license for driving to sites
