Northern Health is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse specialized in obstetrics to join our team. This role requires a commitment to patient and family-centered care, focusing on intra, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum periods. You will work collaboratively with an inter-professional team to assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care for obstetrical and surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and plan direct patient care for obstetrical patients
• Collaborate with the inter-professional team on patient treatment
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing care provided
• Provide care during intra, postpartum, and antepartum stages
• Maintain professional standards of practice as per BCCNM
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with a valid BCCNM license
• Experienced in obstetric nursing or willing to train
• Strong commitment to compassionate patient care
• Ability to work in diverse clinical environments
• Knowledge of nursing science and related fields
