Nurse Practitioner Emergency Department

Position: Nurse Practitioner Emergency Department Role
Utilize your nursing expertise as a Nurse Practitioner in the Emergency Department at Northern Health's Kitimat Regional Hospital. Provide crucial care in a busy and supportive environment.

In this role, you'll manage CTAS 4 and 5 cases and assist with CTAS 1 and 2 cases as needed. You will work collaboratively with other professionals using advanced telemedicine tools and enjoy flexible scheduling to promote work-life balance in Kitimat's captivating surroundings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage a variety of patient emergencies

• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team

• Document patient care through designated systems

• Employ telemedicine tools for enhanced patient support

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in nurse practitioner program completion

• BCCNM registration eligibility as Nurse Practitioner

• Mandatory certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS, CASTED

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to implement evidence-based practices
