Blue Mantis seeks a highly skilled, versatile, Swiss Army Knife Network Systems Administrator to support enterprise‑class data centers and ensure seamless network operations. This role focuses on high availability and performance of network infrastructure while contributing to game‑day success.
The ideal candidate will be pro‑active, adaptable, passionate about innovation, and able to multitask & reprioritize in real‑time. Proficiency in supporting server and cloud environments is required, combined with experience in networking to support a wide array of technologies for company infrastructure & game‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities- Server Administration: Manage and maintain Windows, Linux, and Unix environments to ensure optimal performance.
- Cloud Operations: Administer cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and O365 for enterprise workloads and containerization.
- Virtualization: Manage, configure, and troubleshoot VMware‑based environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and availability.
- System Monitoring: Leverage platforms such as Solar Winds and Data Dog to ensure network reliability and performance.
- Incident Management: Lead network‑related incident resolution, ensuring SLAs are met and escalating issues when necessary.
- Security Best Practices: Implement & support secure networking solutions, ensuring robust protection in on‑premise & cloud environments.
- Documentation: Create & maintain detailed network documentation, including topology maps & troubleshooting procedures.
- Strong experience in NOC operations with expertise in Windows, Linux & Unix using the Service
NOW ticketing system. - Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, O365, VMware) and virtualization/containerization technologies.
- Backup & DR Support:
Experience with Rubrik, Zerto & similar solutions. - Hands‑on experience with firewalls, routing protocols & network monitoring tools like Solar Winds.
- Familiarity with automation tools & scripting.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills & adaptability to dynamic priorities.
- Network troubleshooting in data center environments (Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Power Shell, Bash).
- Familiarity with cloud‑based networking in AWS, Azure or O365.
- Knowledge of infrastructure capacity planning & performance tuning.
- Kubernetes, Docker & container orchestration experience.
- Security best practices, SIEM platforms & endpoint protection knowledge.
- Advanced video streaming technologies & CDN experience.
- Infrastructure performance tuning & capacity planning.
- Provide game‑day support on major holidays when games are played.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent), ITIL & technical certifications in servers &/or cloud (preferred).
- Experience: Demonstrated expertise in a complex, multisite environment.
