Position Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist to join our team, with a primary focus on outpatient care. The ideal candidate will provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders in a clinical setting while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions in an outpatient clinic setting.

• Perform outpatient procedures such as colonoscopies, endoscopies, and other minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

• Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to coordinate patient care.

• Educate patients on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with medical, legal, and regulatory standards.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development.

• Provide on-call support as needed (minimal inpatient coverage may be required).

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology.

• Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Oregon.

• Strong outpatient clinical and procedural skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
