• Medical or clerical experience.
• 50 wpm keyboard skills.
• Excellent spelling, math, and problem‑solving skills.
• Filing skills.
• Telephone skills.
• Data entry and independence to work with co‑workers, communication with patients and professionals, and ability to prioritize, organize, and attend detail.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push up to 250 pounds, walk for extended periods, and perform moderate to high‑level physical tasks.
• Medical terminology knowledge, and limited ICD‑9 coding knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborate with departmental staff, maintain documentation accuracy, assist in billing & insurance processes, follow-up reports, perform paperwork, support clinical and ancillary staff, and orchestrate effective communication with supervisors and departments.
