Overview

Engineering Lead - Factory OS ation:
Zurich, Switzerland (HQ in Zurich, Oerlikon). SAEKI is building the operating system for autonomous factories to enable Europe to manufacture mission-critical components at software speed.

• As the Full Stack Platform Lead, architect and own the interface layer that connects our Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) stack to defense customers and factory operators.
• Own the complete platform stack — customer portal, operator tools, production dashboards, and APIs between MI layers.
• Spend time in the factory to understand how operators use your tools and redesign what breaks under production pressure.
• Recruit and lead a high-performance engineering team, setting engineering practices that scale across multiple factories.
• Work directly with customers, management and factory operators to drive roadmap priorities.

• 5-7+ years of experience as a software engineer with a track record of architecting complex, scalable platforms that serve real users under real constraints.
• Divisional Leadership: experience owning a core element of a company or leading a new product division from 0-to-1.
• Team Construction: experience recruiting and mentoring high-performance engineering teams.
• Technical Agency: expert in our tech stack (React, Type Script, and Go, Python, or Rust) with the ability to make high-stakes architectural decisions with minimal supervision.
• Builder, not a Manager: you lead through code and own architecture from design to deployment.
• Maniacal Urgency: comfort operating in a startup "chaos-to-order" phase.
• Industrial Grit: willing to spend time on production floors to ensure architecture survives heavy manufacturing environments.
• On-site: ability to work in-person at our HQ in Zurich, Switzerland.
