At Goldsborough Primary School we offer a vibrant and inspiring curriculum set within a beautiful village location near Wetherby. As part of the Nidd Wharfe Federation our dedicated and forward‑thinking team works relentlessly to ensure that every child receives an exceptional education, alongside carefully tailored support to meet SEMH and SEND needs.

Our ethos centres on enabling children to become the very best version of themselves by developing the personal characteristics essential for lifelong success. We firmly believe that by prioritising these foundations first, children gain the confidence, resilience and independence to flourish and truly shine.

Working with children is the most rewarding job in the world and, as a school, we actively empower all staff to lead impactful interventions and develop innovative, engaging projects across both schools within our federation.

Our children have only one opportunity to experience their primary education. In challenging times for the sector we are driven by passion, purpose and ambition to ensure learning remains inspiring, meaningful and engaging for every pupil. Collaboration lies at the heart of everything we do, underpinned by a strong commitment to the well‑being and development of all.

Our Opportunity

We are expanding our team. We recognise that an exceptional Teaching Assistant plays a pivotal role in shaping a child’s learning journey and long‑term success. We are seeking an inspirational and committed individual dedicated to embedding curriculum knowledge through practical, creative and engaging experiences that challenge and motivate all learners within a mixed‑age environment.

With tailored support from proactive colleagues and forward‑thinking leaders we will invest in your professional development – equipping you with the skills, confidence and experience to thrive within our unique federation. In return we are looking for someone who brings energy, positivity and commitment, alongside a genuine love of learning, strong initiative and pride in their role – someone who embraces opportunities and creates those powerful “lightbulb” moments for children.
