About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an inspiring Primary Teacher with SEND responsibilities to join a warm and welcoming school in the Knaresborough area on a long‑term basis
.
This full‑time role will start in September, and the school is currently shortlisting. The environment is calm, caring and team‑focused, with a strong commitment to helping pupils with additional needs feel confident, included and well supported.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering creative, engaging and well‑differentiated primary lessons tailored to a range of SEND needs
- Supporting pupils with additional needs to access learning, build confidence and develop independence
- Working collaboratively with support staff and SENCOs to implement individual plans and monitor progress
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching in a primary setting and supporting pupils with SEND
- Strong understanding of inclusive practice, adaptive teaching and effective SEND strategies
- Two school‑based references
