Location:

Knaresborough, England

Salary: GBP 37000 - 37500 per annum

Pay: £19.00 per hour (incl. shift allowance). Rotating shifts and overtime available.

• Set and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc / Heidenhain controls)
• Carry out tool changes, offsets, and basic programme edits
• Manufacture high‑quality components to tight tolerances
• Work from engineering drawings to produce first‑offs and batch work
• Maintain high standards in line with AS9100 / ISO 13485

Early Shift:

• Mon – Thurs: 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Fri: 6:00am – 12:30pm

Late Shift:

• Mon – Wed: 2:00pm – 12:30am
• Thu: 2:00pm – 10:30pm
• Fri:
  Day off

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Operator
• Experience setting and operating CNC machines
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Knowledge of Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
• Apprentice trained or engineering qualification
• Experience with multiple materials (metals / polymers)
• 5‑axis or mill‑turn experience
• Basic CNC programming
• 25 days holiday
