Volunteer eCommerce Assistant

If you enjoy surfing the internet or selling online, join our retail team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in marketing and retail or to use your existing skills. Volunteering in our retail team is also an excellent way to make new friends and have fun.

If you have no previous experience, training will be provided, and there is no minimum time commitment – you can volunteer a few hours a week or once a month. We’ll find a role that fits your schedule.

Our Volunteer eCommerce Assistant plays an essential role in the smooth running of our online shop while raising vital funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research.

• Researching the value of donated items and setting prices
• Preparing suitable donated items for listing online
• Taking engaging photos of donated items
• Listing items on the charity’s eBay shop and other online platforms

• Basic computer, internet, and photography skills
• Experience of selling online is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
• Strong written communication skills
• Attention to detail is essential
• The ability to show initiative
• An enthusiastic and helpful attitude

We need one reference and proof of  home address for all volunteers. Certain roles will be subject to additional checks.
