Customer Service Representative
Vortex Doors, America’s highest quality and most customer-centric commercial and industrial door installation & repair company, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will provide exceptional service, resolve inquiries, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Job Responsibilities- Customer Interaction:
Interact with customers via phone or email in a professional and courteous manner, addressing inquiries, providing information, and offering service assistance. - Problem‑Solving:
Identify and analyze customer needs, provide creative solutions when necessary, schedule appropriate services, and escalate complex issues to management. - Documentation:
Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in our customer management system. - Dispatching:
Efficiently dispatch vehicles and coordinate personnel to meet customer requests, considering location, urgency, and availability. - Product Knowledge:
Develop an understanding of our products and door services to provide accurate information to customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of customer service experience, business‑to‑business highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Patience, empathy, and a customer‑centric mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle high‑stress situations with professionalism.
- Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Regular shifts available between Vortex business hours of 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Position requires working in the office, not remotely.
- Work performed in an office environment; requires ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
- Must be able to walk short distances and sit for prolonged periods.
- Noise level moderate in an office environment.
