• Feeding and watering animals as directed.
• Appropriately medicating pets.

• Keeping facility floors and yards clean.
• Ensuring proper pet identification is in place.
• Documenting care appropriately.
• Following safety procedures.
• Keeping runs and cages clean throughout the shift.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to work with sick animals, hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals.
• Strong professional communication skills in challenging situations.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service with a “yes” culture for clients.
• Proficient with computers, software and electronics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Physical ability to handle and restrain animals.

Physical: Stand for extended periods, lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday; frequently lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 40 lbs.
