We want to add a motivated and personable new employee to our insurance agent team who is seeking a new learning opportunity with lots of room for growth. The ideal candidate for our entry-level insurance agent position has the solid communications skills it takes to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients. Responsibilities- You will be responsible for expanding the company's book of business by selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients
- Develop and calculate suitable plans based on clients' needs
- Resolve client inquiries and complaints
- Expand business reach through networking techniques
- Comply with insurance standards and regulations
- Track and identify areas of improvement
- Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs
- Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking
- Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals
- Commit to remaining educated about the various types of insurance, insurance-related protocols, and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of program requirements and ensure our customers are satisfied
- Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory
- Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office
- Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license
- Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful
- Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole
$40,000 - $60,000 yearly
