Electrician

Tar Heel Basement Systems, A Groundworks Company, is seeking a talented Electrician to join their team in Knightdale, NC!

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems for both residential and commercial clients.

As an Electrician, your duties will include inspecting electrical systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues, reading and interpreting blueprints to implement the most effective solutions, and communicating with customers. You will use a variety of tools and techniques to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and components, who is committed to delivering excellent service while adhering to safety standards. While candidates with completed electrician apprenticeships are preferred, we are open to considering applicants with equivalent training and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to job sites to assess, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan and execute electrical work.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and electrical codes.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers.
• Answer customer questions about their electrical systems and provide recommendations as needed.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace while maintaining company tools and equipment.

Requirements:

• NC Electrician License
• 4-6 years of electrical experience or relevant electrical training.
• Ability to develop and manage additional electrical crews.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to time manage and work autonomously on projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and best practices.
