Description

Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring compliance with payment terms.
Maintain accurate records and update the purchase ledger system.
Communicate with suppliers to resolve queries and maintain strong relationships.
Assist with month-end tasks, including ledger reconciliations and reporting.
Provide support to the wider finance team as required.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger should have:

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, particularly with purchase ledgers.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing deadlines.
