Senior Accountant Job Overview
Our client is a fortune 500 company with offices near Knoxville, TN. They are seeking to hire a Senior Accountant. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a company in a step up position as the Senior Accountant will be promoted to Manager of Accounting within 12 to 24 months. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of public or corporate accounting experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

$65,000 – $85,000 per year
Additional CompensationAnnual Bonus and RSUs
Responsibilities- Lead month‑end close
- Prepare financial statements
- Analyze financial variances against budget and forecast
- Prepare and present financial forecasts monthly
- Conduct strategic analysis for leadership
- Participate in annual budgeting and financial planning processes
- Train staff on internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial statement interpretation
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 to 4 years of corporate or public accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
