Contract Role | Program Manager, Corporate Accounting & Analysis in Knoxville TN

Duration: 6-7 months contract with possible extension

• Performs accounting for high‑complexity accounts and transactions, including interfacing with accounting policy and research personnel to ensure appropriate implementation of accounting conclusions. Analyzes complex accounts and prepares reconciliations and supporting information for inclusion in the financial statements.
• Assists in the development and delivery of company‑wide training and presentations on business processes and controls related to financial reporting. Analyzes key business processes, procedures, and systems, and recommends strategies to balance strong internal controls with improved efficiency and effectiveness through process simplification, streamlining, and standardization.
• Stays up to date with SEC rules and interpretations to ensure compliance with the Sarbanes‑Oxley Act, professional standards, and guidance from authoritative sources such as the AICPA. Also stays informed on industry best practices for process design, analysis, and documentation.
