Role Description | Staff Accountant – Property Management & Residential Construction

This role supports accounting functions for property management and residential construction operations.

• Maintain general ledger and prepare journal entries.
• Support accounts payable/receivable and reconcile accounts.
• Track property budgets, rental income, and tenant charges.
• Manage job cost accounting for construction projects.
• Assist with monthly closings and financial reporting.
• Completing bank reconciliations.
• Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of experience (property management or construction preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel. Experience with App Folio, Yardi, ECI preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

This is an “in‑person” position in the Knoxville, TN office, 37934.
